Quality assured manufacturing worldwide.

We have been collaborating with companies in China for more than 25 years and have a well-developed collaboration with 20 factories that currently have a total of over 11,000 employees.

The capacity is over 18,000 tons and 80% of the production is machined parts from castings, bars and sheets, but the proportion of cast parts and mass-produced parts is constantly increasing. Each shipment is accompanied by a material specification, measurement protocol and a final sample.

Most of our manufacturers are ISO and TS approved and a number supply to the automotive industry with PPAP documents. All have good contacts with us on labor and environmental issues. We continuously visit our factories for process assurance and control.

We offer warehousing in Värnamo for Swedish customers, with capacity to cover customer needs for 3–4 months based on call-offs.

Trading with products with tight tolerances from China requires process control as their machinery is not always adapted to tight tolerances. If necessary, they have therefore purchased more advanced machinery over the last 10 years and we can hold them to the same strict requirements as the European factories.

We can do all-round control on critical dimensions. Suitable details are those with an order value of over 25,000 sek per year. We send interpreters and likers to China to ensure quality, among other things.

Efficient production.
Optimal calculation.

GS Material’s goal is to be able to find the right machine for your details in the most efficient way to save money and time for you and your company.

Most of the factories we cooperate with in Europe are ISO and environmentally certified. GS Material AB has a close cooperation with the Hungarian and Polish factories and receives deliveries once a week. The machinery is of comparable standard to Swedish factories.

Delivery times are comparable to Swedish factories. Volumes of 25-5000 parts and up with tight tolerances are an excellent fit for these factories.

Casting and forging

Wax casting consists of a casting in a tool where liquid wax is poured in and solidifies. The wax casting is then finely cleaned and polished clean and smooth. The casting tube itself is then placed there. The solidified wax is then dipped in several layers of powdered glass, sand and binder. This is usually done manually depending on the craft, like a glassblower.

This lump is then taken and burned to form a mold, and within it is liquid wax that is poured out and replaced with liquid metal. When the mold has cooled down, the mold itself is knocked off and all impurities on the surface are blasted away.
